Women's Equality Strike
Women’s Strike for Equality was the largest demonstration for women’s rights the nation had seen. Four students at Kent State University were killed while protesting the war.
Fairfield University becomes co-educational. Students protest and strike at Fairfield University, taking over Xavier and Canisius Halls, after the university cancels a concert by The Doors.
