Our Local Heroes

When a storm brings high winds, flooding, and power outages to Fairfield, our local heroes, our first responders, work hard to keep us safe. Emergency service providers from the police, fire, and public works departments work together as a team with town leaders to help the community. 

This exhibition shares the challenges that extreme weather events like nor’easters can bring to Fairfield. It explains how our town’s leaders and emergency services providers prepare for, manage, and help others make it through these difficult scenarios.
