Description
This clock is one of the earliest known works by
clockmaker Joseph Bulkley, who lived in Fairfield
from 1755 to 1815. The rather crude castings
of the dial ornaments, the simple decoration of
the second hand’s dial opening, and the clumsy
engraving suggests this clock was made early in
Bulkley’s career.
